CBN Wheels Pacific/Hoe is an acknowledged leader in the design, manufacture and maintenance of cutting tools for the forest product industry. Our years of experience in saw manufacturing have led to the development of a full-range of cutting tools specifically designed for all varieties of cutting conditions and materials. Our diamond and CBN wheels have been carefully engineered to provide for top maintenance of all saw tip categories. All the wheels can be made with either diamond or CBN abrasive. Diamond abrasive should be specified for carbide tipped saws and CBN should be specified for saws tipped with Stellite(tm) or high speed steel. Dimensions and Specifications The following sections contain cross sectional drawings showing shapes and dimensions of wheels designed to fit many saw and cutter sharpening machines. Also shown are the grits and Concentrations of the wheels that have been proven to be top performers in general usage. The Pacific/Hoe wheel number is also shown for your use in ordering. The first section lists general purpose wheels with a wide variety of applications. The second section lists wheels designed to fit specific grinding machines. These wheels are listed alphabetically by the name of the machine manufacturer. CBN Wheel Ordering Information CBN grinding wheels are available in all of the standard diamond wheel sizes and shapes in this catalog. They are also available in special shapes on request. A wide variety of grit sizes are also available to allow the consumer to achieve the desired surface finishes. When ordering the CBN wheels, specify the "CBN" suffix by adding it to the wheel part number. For example, if you wish to order a CBN wheel like the Pacific/Hoe 101, you would specify P/H 101-CBN. Be sure to specify any difference in grit size you may want compared to the standard grit size on the diamond wheel shown in the catalog. Diamond Wheel Ordering Information Ordering your diamond wheel is as simple as identifying the wheel you need under the appropriate machine heading in this catalog. Pick the Pacific/Hoe wheel number from the list that best fits your application. The wheels in this catalog will cover most of your general grinding needs. Other wheels are available in a surprisingly short amount of time from our manufacturing center. If you do not see the wheel you feel is best for your application, please contact your sales representative or the nearest Pacific/Hoe branch listed on the back cover of this catalog.
