How to Dress a Wheel * Dressing cleans away foreign particles and exposes sharp new cutting edges.* Place cutter head on tool rest. * Firmly push dresser into grinding wheel. * If sparking occurs, press harder on dresser. * Traverse cutters back and forth across wheel.
